Some Tesla Model Y customers can be happy. Yesterday evening some chassis numbers were given to waiting Model Y customers. A large number of VINs also existed in Great Britain, according to a member of the local Tesla Forum (TMC). In the overview, it is particularly noticeable that the distribution mainly went to customers who bought the colors grey, blue or red with 19 or 20 inch rims or white and black with 20 inch rims. The so-called standard variant in white or black with a black interior and 19-inch rims was largely ignored. The assumption is that Tesla will start selecting and will deliver these variants from the new Gigafactory Grünheide. Gradually, other colors will also be produced there for the Model Y Performance, so that in all likelihood all Model Y variants will come from Grünheide from 2023. There are currently no new allocations for the Tesla Model 3. Since the Tesla Model 3 is to be produced again in Shanghai since August 7th, 2022, the ships should depart in the next 2 weeks for delivery in the 3rd quarter. Due to the transport time, it could otherwise be very difficult for a delivery in the 3rd quarter.
According to Teslanova56 from the TFF Forum, the following Tesla ships are expected soon:
- MORNING CHORUS → ZEE 18.08. → Off the island of Sicily...
- GLOVIS SUMMIT → SOUTH 16.08. → in the Mediterranean towards Gibraltar, which actually wants to go to GB
- TITUS → ZEE 22.08. → in the Red Sea, Thursday before the Suez Canal
- HOEGH ST.PETERSBURG → ZEE 28.08. → in the Arabian Sea, Sunday at the Suez Canal
- RCC ANTWERP → BARC 24.08.→ at night past Singapore, into the Strait of Malacca
- GLOVIS COMPANION → SHG 06.08. → ??? → in the South China Sea, 3 days to Singapore …
The Helios Ray is expected to be the next ship on August 17th, 2022. This could then also take Tesla Model 3 on board.
