Tesla increases the maximum speed of the "Tesla Vision" autopilot to 140 km/h

Tesla increases the maximum speed of the camera-based "Tesla Vision" autopilot system to 140km/h. Tesla announced in April that new vehicles would no longer be delivered with a radar on the front of the vehicle. For these vehicles, Tesla stated that the maximum speed will be limited to 130 km/h by adaptive cruise control and in Autopilot self-steering mode and there may be temporary restrictions or inactive functions. Less than six weeks later, the top speed is now being increased, giving hope that the original 150km/h of the radar-based autopilot system can be reached in the future. As usual at Tesla, the changeover will be implemented via an over-the-air software update.
