The Tesla Cybertruck is probably one of the most talked about vehicles from Tesla. Recently, new information about this futuristic electric vehicle keeps surfacing. Most recently, it became known that Elon Musk himself is using a final version of the Tesla Cybertruck for test drives, which further fuels the anticipation for the first deliveries.

Elon Musk himself described the cyber truck as Tesla's "best product ever." This statement highlights the confidence and conviction Musk has in the potential of this vehicle. A leaked email from Musk also reveals an interesting aspect of the Cybertruck's production. Due to its unique nature of bare metal and distinctive straight edges, the highest standards of precision must be maintained. Musk emphasizes that dimensional deviations would be particularly noticeable on this vehicle, which is why all parts, both internally and from suppliers, must be designed and manufactured to an accuracy of less than 10 microns. This means that every dimension of the parts must be accurate to the third decimal place in millimeters, and tolerances in the single-digit micrometer range are acceptable. Elon Musk humorously compares these precision requirements to the examples of LEGO bricks and beverage cans, which can also achieve high precision standards despite being inexpensive. The message is clear: precision is a crucial factor that requires perfectionism and plays a central role in the manufacture of the cyber truck.
Tesla is also updating its referral program in the Americas, where customers now have the opportunity to exchange 30,000 credits for an invitation to an exclusive Cybertruck delivery event. New sightings of the Cybertruck reveal other exciting features. One recently spotted example featured ambient lighting in the front dashboard and front and rear door panels. A first for Tesla, the Cybertruck is the brand's first vehicle with such lighting. Also clearly visible is an additional front camera in the bumper that is activated while driving.
