Tesla is again planning some new and quite useful futures for the next big software update. But what will change with this update?
Tesla introduced the blind spot camera with an earlier update. As soon as the turn signal is activated, Tesla shows this image of the side camera in the lower left corner main display. However, this area was often obscured by the steering wheel or arm. With the new update 2022.24, the image can be placed variably on the main screen. To create additional space for the blind spot camera, the turn signal icons have been moved to the upper edge of the screen. They are now located above the regeneration/acceleration line and appear between the gear indicator and the battery icon.
Update 2022.24 allows the user's own driver profile to be applied to any Tesla vehicle. Mirror, seat and steering wheel settings, Autopilot, driving and climate control settings, and navigation and media settings are saved to the respective profile. The last navigation destinations saved are also stored in the driver profile.
Traffic obstructions along the active navigation route are now displayed on the map as part of the route line. Note: This feature requires Premium Connectivity.
The update will be rolled out gradually soon and will be available for download in your Tesla. We cannot say exactly when this will be.
