Tesla shows 7-minute off-road ride in cyber truck in Baja

Tesla recently caused a stir when several cybertrucks were spotted on the Baja Peninsula. They were sporting cool cybertruck graffiti and a Starlink mobility dish on the roof. A video shared by Tesla on X shows how these impressive vehicles demonstrate their off-road capabilities.

The 7-minute video shows the Cybertruck's amazing capabilities while drifting on dirt roads. Despite its considerable weight, the Cybertruck looks incredibly agile and robust. The host of the livestream commented that the two trucks were fully loaded and still behaved "super robust", apart from two flat tires that occurred during the tests.

The off-road testing took place as part of a 1,280-mile journey from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, where the cyber trucks had to prove they were up to the challenges of the demanding terrain. Although the video doesn't show any spectacular jumps, we can be sure that Tesla didn't compromise on the heavy-duty suspension and off-road capability of its vehicles. After all, that's what "Kick Butt in Baja" is all about.

But what does "Baja" mean in this context? Elon Musk clarified this in an earlier post on X. He said, "We're working on increasing dynamic air suspension travel for better off-roading. Needs to kick butt in Baja." By "Baja" he means the famous Baja 1000 rally, one of the toughest off-road rallies in the world.

Overall, the Cybertruck's recent test drive in Baja shows that Tesla continues to work hard to perfect this revolutionary vehicle. The world can look forward to seeing what else this futuristic electric pickup revolution has to offer. Tesla continues to strive to raise the bar for electric vehicles and off-road adventures.
