Tesla installs V4 Supercharger at new diner and drive-in in Los Angeles

The original plans for the location at 7001 Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood called for about 25 charging stations. Thanks to a series of permits issued last year Tesla now has the ability to install up to 32 Supercharger stalls. Although the final number of charging stations has not yet been finalized, the installation of the V4 Superchargers is already generating excitement in the Tesla-community.

X user AL Set recently shared photos that provide a first glimpse of the diner's interior. Construction work began at the end of September last year, and the first structures of the restaurant building were already in place by early November. Many ideas for the Tesla diner originated from Elon Musk's musings in 2018, back then on Twitter. He dreamed of an "old-school drive-in" with roller-skate service and rock music.
Musk also mentioned the possibility of a menu appearing on the screen when the vehicle is charging to simplify the food ordering process.
Drive-in movie theater meets charging station
