In the Mall of Berlin there was an incident in which members of the climate protest group "New Generation" one Tesla-showroom with blue paint. The activists throw Tesla-boss Elon Musk of being close to right-wing politicians and criticizing the company's economic ties.
Protest against Tesla - what is behind it?
On the morning of March 1, 2025, a witness alerted the police after three activists had window front of the Tesla-showroom with blue paint and poured buckets in front of the entrance. On the buckets posters were slogans like:
- "Our society is not a toy for right-wingers"
- "Against the alliance of the right and the rich"
The activists are referring to the Tesla-CEO Elon Musk, who has recently been criticized for his political statements and his closeness to conservative US politicians.
Police action and consequences
The police arrested three suspects:
- One 22-year-old woman
- One 28-year-old woman
- One 25-year-old man
