Tesla Model Y spotted in America with the latest hardware 4!

According to the latest information, Tesla is now installing the first Model Y Currently, only the premium models Model S and Model X receive the new hardware. This includes a new set of sensors, better cameras and a new self-driving computer. Tesla has integrated the new hardware largely without notice.

Unlike other automakers that wait for the new model year to update a vehicle, Tesla implements the changes as soon as they are ready for use. This has advantages and disadvantages. The biggest disadvantage is the lack of transparency. Tesla is currently rolling out a major update to its entire lineup, Hardware 4.0.

Although the new vehicles are already shipping, Tesla has not yet officially announced the hardware. CEO Elon Musk has confirmed that it is coming, but Tesla does not go into detail - presumably so as not to affect sales of the models that are not yet equipped with it.

In the meantime, however, almost all Tesla models are equipped with the new hardware. The new hardware has been installed in brand-new Model Y vehicles that are being prepared for delivery. The Model 3 is expected to receive this technology with the new facelift in the third quarter.

The code for the new hardware is also showing up in Tesla's current inventory vehicles. This means that only the Model 3 car is not yet equipped with the new hardware, but Tesla could begin installing it by the next model of the electric sedan Model 3 "Highland," which is reportedly set to hit the market next quarter.

Some buyers may want to wait to make sure they get the new hardware, but Tesla stresses that it remains confident it can deliver the promised full self-driving capability for vehicles with Hardware 3.0.
