Tesla has begun integrating Apple Shortcuts into a new update to the Tesla Mobile app. This will allow owners to automate Siri for vehicle control and easily access vehicle and climate controls. Just say "Hey Siri" followed by predefined commands like "Lock Tesla" to control your vehicle via voice command.
If you want, you can even create your own shortcuts to perform various actions. For example, you can set your car to a certain temperature and activate the air conditioning. Just open the Apple Shortcuts app and create your own shortcuts.
In addition to Siri control, you also have the option to set up automations for your vehicle. For example, you can set your Tesla's air conditioning to turn on automatically at a certain time of day. Setting up these automations is also done through the Shortcuts app. Navigate to the "Automations" tab and click on the plus sign in the upper corner of the screen to configure them.
