Tesla takes another step towards the global expansion of the Cybertruck. Following the successful launch of the futuristic vehicle in the USA and the first deliveries to Canada, there are now indications that the Cybertruck could soon be available in China too. Tesla has officially registered the model with the Chinese authorities and appears to be preparing for a new market launch.
Cybertruck officially registered in China
On December 11, 2024 Tesla registered the Cybertruck with the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The received Automobile Energy Consumption Label is comparable to the North American Monroney sticker and is a necessary step for the sale of vehicles in China.
