It has been known for several weeks that Tesla could hand over the first Cybertrucks to the first customers on November 30 as part of a delivery event at the Gigafactory Texas in Austin. Contrary to hopes that the first wave of deliveries could already begin, initial information suggests that 10 vehicles could be handed over today. Unless the prospective ten Cybertruck recipients work at Tesla anyway and are therefore obliged to keep quiet, they have kept quiet well so far - until Wednesday, no case was known in which any of them had revealed themselves. So it's possible that at least some people outside the manufacturer already know a new Cybertruck price, but are keeping it to themselves for now. Shortly before the start of the Delivery Event, Tesla also announced the start time of the event on X. The Tesla Cybertruck Delivery Event will start around 2:00 p.m. CT, i.e. 9 p.m. European time, probably only on X.
The event is only open to Tesla shareholders selected through an online lottery. In addition to the lottery, Tesla shareholders also had the opportunity to receive tickets for 30,000 credits through Tesla's referral program. Remarkably, each ticket offers the opportunity to bring a guest. According to the electric car manufacturer, it expects to "receive a limited number of shareholders in person".
Whether today's event will be more of a show event than a presentation with all the facts, figures and prices is still unclear at the moment, as there are still many things we don't know, including prices, battery and motor specifications, range details, performance data and much more.
