The company's success is reflected in the growing global demand for electric vehicles.
Tesla On the rise
The study, which analyzed Google Trends data from 155 countries, shows that Tesla was able to further expand its position as the leading EV manufacturer. While Tesla is the undisputed leader in North America, the brand has increased its reach worldwide. In 2024 was Tesla was the most searched-for car brand in 34 countries - a significant increase compared to 29 countries in 2023.
Why Tesla is so popular in Canada
Canada is one of the pioneers in the introduction of electric vehicles. Despite Tesla's successes, Toyota remains the most sought-after car brand in 64 countries worldwide. The reason? BMW and other brands in the rankings
Alongside Tesla and Toyota, BMW continues to hold its own among the top car brands. The German car manufacturer recorded strong searches in Europe and the Middle East in particular. Fiat, Hyundai and Nissan also significantly increased their online presence in 2024.

The results of the study show that Tesla is building up an increasingly strong presence not only in Canada, but worldwide.
