The hope for many waiting Tesla customers is high that their dream vehicle will arrive this year in the next few weeks. Due to the enormous amount of orders and the lockdown in China, which lasted several weeks in spring, the traffic jam is huge. Some customers are now waiting almost 10 months for their Tesla Model 3. When looking at the current ship tracking in the 4th quarter, you can see that some ships are already on their way to Europe and some deliveries will already be made in November.
The first ship (the Hoegh Traveler), which left too late to arrive in Europe in the 3rd quarter, arrived in Zeebrugge yesterday and is now being unloaded. The Grande Houston are already loaded in Shanghai and on their way to Europe. in Barcelona and on 24.10. to be unloaded in Zeebrugge. On 02.10. the Glovis Supreme in Shanghai with destination Barcelona on 25.10. filed. Shortly behind are the Grande California with destination Koper on October 29th. and the Hoegh Copenhagen with destination Zeebrugge on 05.11. So we already count 5 ships that have already arrived or are on their way to Europe.
Another ship, which is probably also going to Europe for Tesla, arrived yesterday on October 12th. docked for loading at the South Pier in Shanghai. The exact course of the target is not yet known.
In addition to ship tracking from Shanghai (China) to Europe, ship tracking from San Francisco to Europe has also been interesting for the fourth quarter for a long time. In November/ December new Tesla Model S and Model X have been expected for a long time. The Grand Race, which is likely to dock in San Francisco today, is under observation. Whether this ship turns out to be a direct hit remains to be seen.
