In addition to the currently large amount of negative news about the Model Y Performance, which is due to a fault in the drive unit (rear engine), there also seems to be good news about the Gigafactory in Berlin. As announced yesterday on Twitter, the Gigafactory will be working in three shifts from Monday, July 4th, 2022 - 24 hours a day. This will increase production there by a significant amount. Tesla was already working in two shifts last Saturday. This is also new, because until now there was only a 5-day week in Grünheide. According to Brandenburg's Economics Minister, 500-600 people continue to start in the Gigafactory every month.

Current drone shots by @tobiaslindh from the past show that the production of the Gigafactory Grünheide apparently no longer focuses exclusively on Tesla Model Y Performance, but apparently the "basic variant" of the Model Y Long Range is already being produced Saturday. At a collection point of finished Model Y, he discovers two rows of finished Model Y Long Range with 19 inch rims. In the Tesla configurator, the delivery time for the Long Range variant with 19-inch rims is currently between November 2022 and January 2023. The variant with the 20-inch rims is specified with the delivery period October - December 2022.
I just noticed: It looks like there are at least two rows of Model Y LR to be delivered from #GigaBerlin. pic.twitter.com/oIeVdblZcN
