There is an update for the new Tesla Model S and Model X. Tesla has swapped the familiar Red Multi Coat color for the new Ultra Red on both models. The old color is no longer available for order as of now. The price for the Ultra Red in Germany is 3200 euros. The first vehicles seem to have already been produced in the USA, as a picture from the Gigafactory shows. The new Ultra Red is nevertheless not comparable with the Midnight Cherry Red, which was available for the Model Y is available. The red from Grünheide is even darker and, according to the visualizations, goes even further into burgundy.
Tesla also lowered the entry-level prices of the Model S and Model X in the U.S. a few days ago.
- Model S AWD: $89,990 (previously $94,990).
- Model S Plaid: $109,990 (previously $114,990).
- Model X AWD: $99,990 (previously $109,990)
- Model X Plaid: $109,990 (previously $119,990)
But even in Slovakia, for example, the Model S Long Rande is under 100,000 euros. So the entry-level model there costs 90,990 euros. The Model S Plaid starts at 115,990 euros. Whether and to what extent prices will be lowered in our country in the future is not yet known.
