Currently, the news and current pictures about the new Tesla Cybertruck are overflowing. According to current information, Tesla is currently aiming for a production of 375,000 units per year. The portal Electrek refers to messages from Tesla to suppliers. Tesla had already announced in January that the Cybertruck would go into production at the factory in Texas in the course of 2023.
In recent days, camouflaged Tesla Cybertrucks have been spotted again and again. As already reported, this could be a final production version, which Tesla would like to protect somewhat from prying eyes with the pattern. Pictures of users have now also been published on Twitter, showing several finished-looking Cybertrucks on a trailer. In addition, a short video was posted online a few days ago showing a Tesla Cybertruck being unloaded from a plane in New Zealand. Rumor has it that the all-electric pickup will undergo final winter tests in Wanaka, New Zealand, before going into initial production at the Gigafactory in Texas.

The approach is strongly reminiscent of the launch of the Tesla Model 3which also went into mass production after testing. New Zealand, known for its sunny valleys and verdant beauty, may not immediately come to mind when one thinks of snow-covered landscapes. But the southern hemisphere has winter from June to September, with plenty of snow and wintry conditions. New Zealand's South Island has become an unexpected hub for car testing during this time.
