Simplified operation of Tesla's Autopilot with the 2023.44 update

With the latest software update 2023.44, you can set the Autopilot to be activated by pressing the right lever down once, making it even easier to use the Autopilot. You can easily access this setting via the Vehicle > Autopilot > Autopilot activation > Pull once screen.

Please note, however, that a single drag will bypass the cruise control if the autopilot functions are set to Steering Assist (Beta). Steering Assist (Beta) and Adaptive Cruise Control are bypassed in a similar way if the Autopilot functions are set to Autonomous Driving (Beta).

If the setting is set to single pull, canceling Steering Assist (Beta) or Autonomous Driving (Beta) will immediately return you to manual driving, regardless of whether you take over the steering or push the lever up once. As with all Autopilot functions, you should remain alert and ready to react immediately, including when canceling the function and returning to manual driving.
