The latest registration figures for November 2024 are in, and they show exciting developments in the German car market. In total 244,544 passenger cars (passenger cars) were newly registered, which represents a slight decrease compared to the same month last year of 0,5 % compared to the same month last year. New commercial registrations increased by +4,3 % while private new registrations increased by -9,3 % decreased.
Electric cars: decline despite strong presence
In November 35,167 battery electric vehicles (BEV) were newly registered, a significant decrease of -21,8 % compared to the same month last year.
