For all Tesla deliveries between December 15 and 31, 2022, Tesla has credited 10,000 Supercharger free kilometers as a thank you for the flexibility of customers. Now, a letter reveals that the deadline for unlocking from the free Supercharger credit has been extended. Customers who take delivery of a new Tesla vehicle by Jan. 12, 2023, will receive credit for 10,000 free Supercharger miles.
This extension will also apply to the remaining new cars sold and delivered by January 12, 2023. The corresponding free kilometers will be credited in January and will be valid for 2 years from then on. Eligible customers with delivery backlogs will be notified of this benefit by email. They do not need to take any action at this time.
