As already reported, near-series Tesla Cybertrucks were recently spotted in America. In addition, Tesla recently kept leaking that the first deliveries would be made before the end of the 3rd quarter of this year. Now, Tesla officially announces via Twitter post that the first production version has left production at the Tesla Gigafactory in Texas. The news from Tesla, which was published in Germany on Saturday morning (in the US in the middle of the night), shows what appears to be the first mass-produced Tesla Cybertruck surrounded by Tesla production workers.
Previously, prototypes of the vehicle had been spotted several times on public roads and at a winter test site in New Zealand. In its quarterly report, Tesla also unveiled a pilot production line for the Cybertruck, calling the vehicles an "alpha version."

Production of the Cybertruck has already been delayed twice after the vehicle was originally scheduled for late 2021. But Musk's prediction last June that production of the Cybertruck would begin in mid-2023 now appears to be coming true. During the company's first-quarter earnings conference call in April, Musk announced that the first deliveries would take place in late September. In view of current developments, this date seems realistic, especially since it still leaves some room for maneuver.
