After completely discontinuing the referral program for recommenders and buyers in September 2021, Tesla today launched a new referral program for Tesla customers. After the Loot Box in the Tesla app (top right - left of the icon) has already reappeared in recent months, but no new program was available, the referral now works again in a slightly modified form. With each referral, you collect credits in the new version, which you can redeem for free mileage, lifestyle products, or accessories as needed.
Once you've accessed the Loot Box, you'll find your earned credits (displayed as credits) and your free Supercharging kilometers in the general overview. For each referral, you will receive 2000 credits and the buyer will receive 100 credits. For new Tesla vehicles that you buy yourself, you will also receive 2000 credits for loyalty. There you will also find the history of all recommendations in the upper area.
Under the point Redeem you can redeem your collected credits for free kilometers or products of your choice. For the free kilometers, you can choose between 500 free kilometers (equivalent to 1500 credits) and 5000 free kilometers (equivalent to 5000 credits). Here, Tesla seems to be rewarding those who opt for more free kilometers. Additionally, you can now opt for lifestyle products like T-shirts or backpacks, accessories like the wallbox or bike rack, or upgrades like the acceleration boost.
