A few days ago, Tesla already announced that it wants to expand into Turkey as the next step. With today's date (04 April 2023), Tesla has published all details and now officially starts selling the popular Tesla Model Y to Turkey. The Tesla Model 3 is currently not yet available in Turkey. At the launch, Tesla also published the prices for Turkey. As an example, a Tesla Model Y will cost the equivalent of about 77,000 euros. This sounds a lot to us at first glance, but it is a very good price by Turkish standards. In general, the prices for cars in Turkey are much higher, so even vehicles with conventional combustion engines cost almost twice as much as in Germany, for example.
According to initial estimates, Tesla could create sales in the 6-digit range in Turkey in the shortest possible time, because Tesla is one of the few manufacturers that can deliver quickly and are not under the influence of conventional car dealers/sellers. The expected delivery time is currently in the 3rd quarter of 2023 according to the Tesla configurator.
