Introduction
Tesla has released a new update for its Full Self-Driving (FSD) system. With the version FSD 12.5.6.2 the Speed Profiles will be applied to more roads. This improvement promises an even more comfortable and safer driving experience for everyone Tesla-owners.

What are the Speed Profiles?
The Speed Profiles were first introduced with FSD v12.5.5 and offer three different driving modes:
- ChillFocused on slower lanes and minimal lane changes. Ideal for a relaxed driving experience with as little intervention as possible.
- Standard: Replaces the previous "Average" mode and offers a balanced driving style that adapts to the speed of traffic.
- HurryFormerly known as "Assertive", for drivers who want to go faster and prefer more frequent lane changes.
Extension to more roads
Originally, Speed Profiles were only available on highways. With FSD 12.5.6.2 they are now extended to all roads with a speed limit of 80 km/h or higher or higher. This means that
- More flexibilityDrivers can also select the driving mode on country roads and expressways.
- Adapted driving style: The vehicle adapts better to different traffic conditions.
