Tesla lowers prices at its own Supercharger network in early 2024. After a slight price increase at the end of 2023, the price reduction for charging electricity at the Supercharger in Germany, but also in other EU countries, is now back below €0.40 or even below €0.30. Especially at this time of year, when more electricity is needed and less electricity is available from solar energy, for example, this is a big step, because compared to last year, for example, prices are currently significantly lower than last year, when they were over €0.50 per kWh.
For example, the price at the Winsen/Luhe Supercharger was reduced by 4 cents per kWh from €0.42 to €0.38 per kWh during the off-peak period. Similar adjustments were also reported at other German locations. Tariffs at Supercharger stations vary from country to country and even from location to location. There is also a peak period with higher prices and an off-peak period with lower prices.
In a European comparison, German Supercharger prices are still in the midfield. In France, we currently have a price of around 0.27 cents/kWh at some Supercharger locations.
